Getaway Cabins

The Getaway Cabins project is a commissioned study on a holiday cabin typology for a steep slope overlooking a lake. Through an exploration of different typologies, the emergent form is a combination of a cylinder that serves as a spiral staircase and attached cubes that house the main living spaces. This compact footprint minimizes the project's intervention on the natural landscape.
